ART can assist you in the visualization of vague or conceptual ideas by transforming them into detailed 3D solid models through the use of SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, and AutoCAD design tools. Our engineers and drafters can convert your 2D drawings or sketches for rapid prototyping, develop complete technical data packages, or create new designs based upon your input and specifications.
When you need parts quickly, ART can fabricate prototypes for testing, models for marketing, or production parts (in plastic or metal) that meet your requirements in a very timely fashion. Typical delivery on stereolithography models is 3-5 days after receipt of CAD data. For functional test parts produced via vacuum cast molding, deliveries are 5-10 days after receipt of a master or fabrication of a master. For production, first part deliveries can typically be achieved in two to four weeks depending upon the process required.
What if you already have a part but you do not have drawings for it? ART can
help here as well. Through reverse engineering, the necessary data can be
developed to create drawings and/or produce new components. You can send us the
parts that you would like reverse engineered and we will return the original
with a set of drawings, electronic CAD data, or additional "new"
parts. What if your parts are to big to ship or they're in an assembly that
cannot be taken apart? Then we'll bring a portable coordinate measuring machine
to you! We can reverse engineer your parts on-site.
